This 5-port Gigabit PoE extender uses a 1-input, 4-output design to expand one incoming PoE connection to four compatible powered devices. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet for IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and other supported PoE equipment.

The input supports IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, and IEEE 802.3bt active PoE with up to 90W input power. Three output ports support up to 30W each, while one output port supports up to 60W for compatible higher-power devices.

The extender adds up to 100 meters of network reach, allowing compatible PoE devices to be positioned farther from the original switch or injector without installing a separate local power source.

Plug-and-play operation automatically detects compatible powered devices without software configuration. The wall-mount design is intended for locations where local AC power is unavailable. This extender supports 48V active PoE and is not compatible with passive PoE systems.

Key Benefits

  • One Input to Four Outputs – Expands a single PoE connection to four compatible powered network devices.
  • Gigabit Network Support – Provides 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connectivity across the PoE connection.
  • High-Power PoE Input – Accepts up to 90W from a compatible IEEE 802.3bt active PoE source.
  • Mixed PoE Output Capacity – Provides three outputs rated up to 30W and one output rated up to 60W for compatible devices.
  • Additional 100 m Reach – Extends power and network data by up to another 100 meters for remote device placement.
  • No Local Power Required – Receives operating power through the incoming PoE connection and requires no separate power adapter.

Find answers to common questions about compatibility, PoE power, supported equipment, product selection, and use with security camera and surveillance systems.

How many PoE devices can this extender connect?

The extender has one Gigabit PoE input and four Gigabit PoE output ports, allowing up to four compatible powered devices to connect from a single incoming PoE connection.

How much PoE power does the extender support?

The input supports up to 90W using compatible IEEE 802.3bt active PoE. Output ports 1–3 support up to 30W each, while output port 4 supports up to 60W, subject to available input power.

How much additional network distance does the extender provide?

The extender can add up to 100 meters of network reach for compatible PoE devices, helping extend Ethernet and power to locations farther from the original PoE source.

Does this PoE extender require a separate power supply?

No. It receives operating power through the incoming PoE connection and does not require a separate local power adapter.

Does the extender work with passive PoE equipment?

No. It is designed for compatible 48V active PoE devices using IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, or IEEE 802.3bt standards and is not compatible with passive PoE systems.
