Two dedicated Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports connect the switch to a compatible NVR, router, or upstream network without using any of the sixteen powered device ports. This keeps the full PoE port capacity available for cameras, VoIP phones, and other supported network equipment.
The switch supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at PoE, providing up to 30W from an individual port with a 250W total PoE power budget. Automatic powered-device detection supplies power to compatible PoE equipment, while passive 24V PoE devices are not supported.
For cameras installed farther from the network cabinet, Extend Mode increases supported transmission distance from 100 meters to as much as 250 meters, with network speed reduced to 10 Mbps. Plug-and-play operation, a built-in power supply, metal housing, LED indicators, and rack-mount installation support centralized multi-camera deployments.
