This 6-port PoE+ switch is designed for small surveillance and business networks that need to power and connect up to four compatible PoE devices. Four 10/100 Mbps PoE ports carry both network data and power over Ethernet cabling, helping reduce the need for separate power adapters at camera locations.
Two dedicated 10/100 Mbps uplink ports connect the switch to a compatible NVR, router, or upstream network without using the four powered device ports. This keeps all four PoE ports available for cameras, VoIP phones, or other supported equipment.
The switch supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at PoE, with up to 30W available from an individual port and a 60W total PoE power budget. Automatic powered-device detection supplies power to compatible PoE equipment, while passive 24V PoE devices are not supported.
For cameras located farther from the network equipment, Extend Mode increases supported transmission distance from 100 meters to as much as 250 meters, with network speed reduced to 10 Mbps. Plug-and-play operation requires no switch-level configuration, making the switch practical for straightforward 1–4 camera installations.
