This 24-port PoE+ switch is designed for larger surveillance and business networks that need to power and connect up to twenty-four compatible PoE devices. The 10/100 Mbps PoE ports carry network data and power over Ethernet cabling, helping reduce the need for separate power adapters at camera locations.
Two dedicated Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports connect the switch to a compatible NVR, router, or upstream network without using any of the twenty-four powered device ports. This keeps the full PoE port capacity available for cameras, VoIP phones, and other supported network equipment.
The switch supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at PoE, providing up to 30W from an individual port with a 250W total PoE power budget. Automatic powered-device detection supplies power to compatible PoE equipment, while passive 24V PoE devices are not supported.
For longer camera runs, ports 9–24 support Extend Mode, increasing supported transmission distance from 100 meters to as much as 250 meters while reducing network speed to 10 Mbps. Plug-and-play operation, a built-in power supply, LED indicators, metal housing, and rack mounting support centralized multi-camera installations.
